Im going to give you a poem,
it's about a man named Harry,
you might of seen him,
or maybe you know him.

Harry has long grey hair,
and with his blood shot eyes
it looks like he's giving you a evil stare.

Harry used to take pride in himself,
but when his wife died he just lost interest,
he didnt care.

Harry walks the street daily
looking for people to talk to,
but Harry looks unapproachable,
but that doesnt make him unsociable.

So the next time you see harry walking all alone,
remember to speak that one word,
a simple... hello.

Your poem.....

Hushy, your poem made me smile....
Yes, the lonely and daily street-walkers need a
simple hello from time to time........
I especially love lines 13 and 14.....
They may not have on a suit, or Sean John clothing
They may not have a clean shaven, face
But... they are still humans...
And they need the love....

Congratulations on such a masterpiece!

Have fun,
Meridian

What good is a heart, if, its not shared?

Hushy,

This is a very good read, it takes courage to reach out touch the heart of what some call Scum and once we do, we feel real and of value to ourselves, we all have a heart and its worthless if, we keep it to our sleves.

Good Work, here.

awareness

your poem is so true and you had the heart to notice. a friendly hello or smile makes us feel good when we get acknowledged, so it would make others feel good too. Have you ever noticed if we smile or say hello to someone and they don't reply or respond we walk away thinking what a miserable SOB. I'm glad somebody else sees this.
