Dreaming Of England
1 September, 2003
Author: Ben Laney
Tall brick walls
With Ivy overgrown
Walking along
Streets of cobblestone
Dreaming of England
I'm dreaming of England
Kicking around
All over London town
Stop in for tea
That's alright by me
Dreaming of England
I'm dreaming of England
A small child squeals
At a Bobby on wheels
Bobby rings his bell
And tips his hat as well
I'm dreaming of England
Dreaming of England
I have seen
The land of the free
Now my heart calls me
Across the rolling sea
Dreaming of England
I'm dreaming of England

Ben Laney (68.127.169.72) -- Wednesday, August 25 2004, 06:40 pm ben, Thank you for your positive comment on Dreaming of England, I am glad you like it. As for your question, "land of the free?"; I totally understand that many think that's so in words only, and that many of our freedoms are being taken away by the government. Still, my heart calls me across the rolling sea at times! Thanks again! Best Regards, Ben |
