You're Blind
11 May, 2004
Author: LinzAy
Can you see my smile
Even though
It's hidden by my frown
Do you think I'm happy
Even though
I always tell you that I'm down
Can I see clearly to you
Even though
My sight is obviously fogged
Do you truly think that I believe
Even though
I alwas tell you there's no God
Do you believe that I can feel
Even though
You know that I am numb
Can you see my "intelligence"
Even though
They always say I'm dumb
Would you consider me beautiful
Even though
I am truly anything but
Do you ignore my scars
Even though
It's obvious that I cut
Do you think good exists
Even though
It's obvious Evil dominates
And do you honestly believe that I can love
Even though
I'm so full of hate
------- Author's Notes -------
Just an angry day...there are certain things in this poem that those who know me know they are just put in there for the poem i.e. the whole God thing (i do believe), the cutting...i don't:) and i'm not full of hate :D |
