Sun Kissed
8 December, 2002
Author: Maranda Berkley
It's 10 past the hour
Just a few seconds too soon
For the sun's rays to start dying
To let room in the sky for the moon
Underneath branches is where we'll be
Two by two with minds swept clean
Holding hands while we're sun kissed
Just me and you and you and me
It's 20 past the hour
Just a few seconds after
The sun sinks down
As the moon rises with wind's laughter
Underneath tree branches is where we'll be
Eyes adjusting to what in light we plainly see
We'll hold hands and give kisses
Just me and you and you and me
