In Between
22 October, 2002
Author: Maranda Berkley
This time it's real
I'll keep telling my mind this
For it's something my heart already feels
It's heavy with burdens
Yet weighed down with cares
But as light as a feather
And as serious as a dare
Two conflicting matters
Within me duke it out
But is it a never ending battle
Is my mind capable to agree
With all my heart has seen
With the direction it's trying to pull
Or again fall somewhere in between
