To Know You
22 October, 2002
Author: Maranda Berkley
31 days and I feel I've known you a lifetime
You've made me laugh, made me smile and even seen me cry
5 out of 7 a week and still too many go to waste
But I've changed in a way
As others pass, I'm uninterested in their face
So many hours spent to learn the man inside
To see what makes you real
To be granted a piece of mind
And I wouldn't give any of the seconds up
I only ask that the times grows
That many more months shall pass
Wrapping us both in the unexplainable glow
