Forever, You're Still
26 September, 2002
Author: Maranda Berkley
You're still the air against my neck
The silent whispers brushing my lips
The spidery webs of skin
The soft surface of your fingertips
You're still the voice inside my mind
Like a tape recorder I play and rewind
The face I see in my dreams at night
Images that blur my thoughts and sight
You're still the eyes allowing me to see for miles
Looking as far as I wish to go in time
Holding secure the heart I'll never have as my own
Though you've forever captured mine
