A True Test

You've studied the maps of the hearts you've known
Picked them apart, looked them up and down
Backwards and forward
Struggling to learn the history they hold
Inside your own, you don't know what to feel
Unsure of which path to take in life
Troubled by words said, hurt felt
The heart pierced with silent screams
The true test is to learn your own
What you need and want for happiness
To be all that you are capable of
With the heart given to you when you were born
Then when you learn to love yourself
You will find pure glory in loving others
Because happiness is the greatest gift
By far the best of all wealth's
