Again And Again

I come down from the rooftop
My safe haven and hide away
To meet you at the bottom
The start of everyday
Your gun's still smoking
My cheeks forever tear stained
I'm astounded by the feelings
I thought had fell away
Under the rug where I swept them
In the middle of the floor they lay
You throw both hands up
Tossing them in the air
My heart's torn open
And you just walk the other way
