Around To Save Me
1 September, 2002
Author: Maranda Berkley
I'm standing on the edge
I'm looking down below
As people carry on
The tragedy up above unknown
My feet begin to slip
My mouth is open wide
As I begin to plunge
My aim for the ground where I'll die
Is there anyone who will save me
Before my feet slip and I fall to the ground
Is there anyone who cares to save my life
Or will I die with no one around
I'm standing on the edge
I'm looking down below
Seeing not a soul around
My desperation full blown
My feet begin to slip
My mouth is open wide
As someone grabs my hands
And pulls me close to their side
Is there anyone who will save me
Before my feet slip and I fall to the ground
Is there anyone who cares to save my life
I turn to see everyone around
