I've had the time of my life
Only because you're image is burnt in my mind
It makes everything go away
When troubled times rise
My soul never strays
I'm all yours
In your arms or without them around
I'll love you even when you're so far
The distance between never makes me shudder
I know if I turn to you
You'll be my shelter
To shower me with hopes and dreams
To protect and love me
So it seems
You and I together
A shallow dream
But the hope stays alive
Your words once spoken never leave my mind
Causing even those worst of times
To turn out fine
I'll have the time of my life
With you
Even without
All the burdens in the world
Can never amount
To what this heart dreams
For the destiny of you and me
You're my shelter
Or so it seems
