Leave It All Behind

I hunger for something different
It revs up inside of me
Leaving a monstrous growl
It travels on an unknown road
For 1,254 miles...
Say goodbye to all the east coast specialties
Shmuffins and nachos from Sheetz
Dry the tears of the family left behind
I knew someday I'd leave
And it seems now is the time
The swings and spiders will follow my trail
Waiting for me at the end
Where I know very few
Where fear becomes the #1 part
All on my own to fend
So much to leave behind
So much is waiting to gain
The benefit of the doubt is given
My life wants to wind this way
So I'll leave it all behind
Not forever, I'll return someday
But I'll never be the same person
With the help of you
The strength of me
For the better I'll grow and change
Leaving the old me
1,254 miles away
