I don't care to live for tomorrow
I want to live today
To be resting in your arms
Staring in your eyes
Being with someone who cares
I don't care for tomorrow
You're here today
To show me what life is
What a heart feels
To show me some things are fair
But tomorrow will come
And you'll go away
Leaving me to return to each day
The simplicity of hope
The broken hearted fear
To reach for you in dreams
Only to be awakened
Finding you're not here
