Cartoon Sky
3 July, 2002
Author: Maranda Berkley
There's a small town and a boy with dreamy eyes
Who has pencil and paper drawn
Fell from a cartoon sky
He's famous to the poor folk
He's nothing to the rich
He's two completely different people
Turned on and off by the pencil switch
He's the boy from the light side of town
With the view across the street
To the dark line
Wondering what it would be like to cross that boarder
For his dreamy eyes not to smile
But he'll just stick to his book
Feet bolted to the ground
White freckled mind with pictures of the dark side
In a small town with dreamy eyes
Pencil and paper drawn
Fell from a cartoon sky
