Here's To All
27 May, 2002
Author: Maranda Berkley
Here's to all the good times we never thought would end
To the parties, the quiet nights, all spent with friends
Here's to all the fairytales we pretend
To the glass slippers, prince charmings, knights who defend
Here's to all the words of comfort, care that we lend
To the shoulders to lean on, the sympathy letters we send
Here's to all the love filled hearts of women and men
To the poems written, songs sung, for the kind of love that never ends
Here's to the whole wide world ahead
Our lives are our own, our destiny's our single minds mend
