My Lucky
19 May, 2002
Author: Maranda Berkley
you can be my lucky star
when i need someone to turn to
when everything seems to fail
those who are close fall away too soon
you can be my lucky number
when all i try seems unreal
when i lose every battle
with you the victory is mine to steal
you can be my lucky clover
when life to me is practically a waste
when i hide in fear - duck every corner
you'll help me with fears i must face
you can be my lucky penny
when my pockets run on empty
when i am on my last hope
you'll be the angel god sent me
