Wash Me Clean
17 May, 2002
Author: Maranda Berkley
I walk through the tall grass
Around rocks and the trees
Down the mountainside
Where the sunlit water gleams
I step to the edge
As my face a reflection I see
Place my dirty feet in it's rushing
Washing them clean
Washing away lost hopes and lost dreams
