My Ending
8 May, 2002
Author: Maranda Berkley
I stop to remember
I pause to forget
All the memories burnt into my mind
Flowing in and out
Like the sands of time
I fight to be rid of
The feeling I get
The look of your face
When I used to feel safe
Unseen ravens fly through my window
Lurking in my room
Watching
Waiting
For me to make a move
They can read my thoughts
They can feel my mood
Obeying time
Knowing it's doomed
The end is near
And they'll invade this room
Eating me as prey
The feast is soon...
