Bachelor's Dream
10 August, 2003
Author: Ben Laney
Sitting here naked
While my laundry spins dry
Dishes in the kitchen
Piled four feet high
There's hairy green stuff
Growing wild on the bread
In the oven
Something smells like it's dead
Went to make coffee
Found the empty can
Someone forgot to stop
By the store again
I can't recall what it's like
To have a nice meal
But I can sure tell ya
How a bachelor feels
Well, I can go party
When those clothes are all through
Leave those dirty dishes
For another day to do
Or just spend hours
Doing nothing at at all
But watching dust bunnies
Jump up and down the hall
I'm living,
Living a bachelor's dream
Yes, living,
Living a bachelor's dream
There's no-one I
Have to answer to
I got a thousand and five
Things to do
I'm living,
Living a bachelor's dream
