My Last Curtain Hung
28 April, 2002
Author: Maranda Berkley
My moment to shine
The time is all mine
The violins will play
The drummers keeping time
The most unfaithful taste
Testing my faith
It will be a true disaster
Is my soul in danger or safe
Sooner or later I'll be done
The last breath from my song sung
My voice will cease
The ending curtains hung
The world will repeat
The spoken words I used to keep
My tie to silence gone
The crowd rising to their feet
Broken hearts to summers long
Broken homes where it all begun
It will be determined
This is where it will all be missed
Farewell to all
I'm long gone
