I Want The Hard Way
7 April, 2002
Author: Maranda Berkley
I want you till I have you
Then I'll throw you away
What can I say
This girl likes it the hard way
Prop me on your pedestal
To sit around and stare
Sing me lullabies; tell me fairytales
Make believe the world is fine
Walk out of the room
And I'll throw myself off to break my spine
I want you till I have you
Then I'll throw you away
What can I say
This girl likes it the hard way
Ignore me; see through me
Knock me out of your way
Screaming you hate me
Life is so unfair
I'll want your hatred, your fire
Mistreat me, I'll cave you, I'll stay
I want you till I have you
Then I'll throw you away
What can I say
This girl likes it the hard way
