Perfect Day

Author: Maranda Berkley
on the perfect summer night
in your arms i'll hold on tight
and stare at the stars in the sky
i'll think it's amazing the way they shine
but i'll look in your eyes and think
they look just the same
the moon will hang low
and the waves crash in slow motion
causing the water against the rocks
to appear as if it flies
the soft breeze will rock us back and forth
and we'll sway with the music in our hearts
with the sound of each other's voice
we'll be caught in a day dream, but at night
and it will be real
the hours will pass and we'll be there forever
never again waking up to an alarm
we'll be all alone in the world
and we'll gaze at the never ending sky without a care
the waves will always crash
the stars will always shine
the moon will hang so low
and the love in our hearts will grow more in everyway
the perfect ending
to a perfect day
