Bottom Cloud
11 February, 2002
Author: Maranda Berkley
Came along to save the girl from the bottom cloud she's on
Turned her tired lonely soul from lights of dark to those of on
Knew from the start that things wouldn't last
But you continued on
Because love will surpass
A hopeless situation you gave up none
Will continue to try, always will help, till your days are done
God gave a blessing of a true saint
Just when needed most for eyes turned faint
Look deep in her eyes you see her pain
Feel her heartache, tears fall like rain
I will help you through
She tells the girl
Though it's hard to try, she believes it's true
Because saints like this are few
Saved me from the bottom cloud I was on
I didn't know how much longer I could last
You dry my tears and cup my heart
Whispering in my ear "I will help you see your worst days are past"
