Sinners
28 January, 2002
Author: Maranda Berkley
The earth breaks in two
The girls fall down in
I feel the fire enrapture me
Our sins to pay
In hells crimson rays
Everywhere we look
-fire we see-
Before it's too late
Before it's all done
Lets take one last look at the sun
Heavens door will close
Happiness we will know no more
Stumbling in hell's eternal depths for sure
Sinners they'll call us
Guilt we'll feel
As we stumble to the devil's floor
We'll ask why
And he'll tell us
Our love is a lie
God frowns upon our souls
Sinners we are
Sinners we'll be
Asking for answers
We don't really want to know
God's gate is closed
And the fall is hard
Through the earth's crack
To be damned as sinners
For the simple act of love
Dwelling in hell forever more
