I Don't Want To Fight Anymore
18 January, 1986
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
I don't want to fight anymore
I can't take the fightin' anymore.
All this fussin' and this fuedin' has to end
I can not take it
I need a friend not an opponent
I want your love and not your anger
Peace of Mind
Love doesn't come at once
So they say
You can't rush a good thing
You have to wait
But the Pushin' and the shovin'
And the hard words keep on coming
I'm tired of trying, getting hurt, living a lie
So what's the worth... of the pain
Oh I love you can't you see
But you make it so hard on me
Can't our fighting reach its end
Before we both are left again
To pick up all the pieces like before
and try not to get hurt any more
But the past makes up the future
but you have to let it go
So we can find our love again
With no more lies or painful tears
And we won't have to fight... any more
Cause I can't take the fighting any more
I can't take the hurting anymore
This fighting and abusing has to end
I can not take it
I need your heart not an opponant
I want your Love and not your anger
A peace of mind

Knight in waiting (69.119.183.198) -- Tuesday, January 25 2005, 12:50 am Love doesn't hurt that much, sometimes in relationships theres alot of misunderstandings also people are very selfish with others and unconcious of there feelings. I hope it goes well for you |
