Amazing Grace
13 January, 2002
Author: Maranda Berkley
The states fall down
One by one
Like dominoes effecting them all
Only two left standing
Refusing the fall
One a saving grace
The other a lost soul
The states set the tone
All the world replies its call
But the two left standing
Fight them off
The lost soul begins to falter
But saving grace guides him
With her song
She thinks she loves him
And saves him
From his own demise
They fall lost in a world of sound
No one can find them
And the states continue
To crumble down
Until saving grace
And the lost soul
Are left alone
Relishing in their new found glory
With music ringing in their hearts
