The Darkside

The Dark Side
There was a time we had to imagine people being cruel.
Now everywhere we look there are ones that can be cruel.
No more imagining cruelty.
Now it's an everyday part of our life.
So sad that humans who are suppose to cherish life.
Don't seem to care what pain they inflict.
The Darkside of life is why I think we have so much
conflict.

Martin V (4.244.171.91) -- Friday, May 14 2004, 05:27 pm Barb; Were it not for his thunder and litghtening, I to would only see, how we treat each other. Such power he displays for us, these are the gifts, I try and see, when someone, curses me, they have no power at all, its his thunder and lightening, that I see. Yet, I to understand, how you feel, and see things, that you see, this is just the way, I save me from myself, I hear his thunder as it lights up his voice, and takes the worldly pain, from my heart. I'm not preaching here, though it sounds like it, I'm just revealing, how I get through, some of the days, we all are going through. Very Good Barb! MartinV |
Meridian (64.12.116.200) -- Friday, May 14 2004, 07:12 pm Good day to you Barb! Once again you've outdone yourself in this magnificent, marvellous poem on life styles entitled, "The Darkside">... And it's very dark and dreary.... Everywhere we turn, there's cruelty, everywhere we look, there's cruelty, everywhere, we can't escape it.... So many people are unknowledgeable of, let me take that back, the know exactly what they are doing when they act upon their cruelty.... Thank you for such a lovely submission!! You're the best Barb!!! Smile, Meridian |
