Together We Flow

Together we live in harmony,
Together we care on different sides,
On the inside I’ve colours of red and white,
On the outside you protect by not letting in,
Through your soul I pass never stopping to rest,
Never do I sleep in fear I’d miss your beat,
You breathe giving me the gift of life,
As I flow within I in return give back the same gift,
I meander through chambers never seen before,
I flow through places small and wide,
I’m pushed with speed to give me a boost,
After my journeys end you replenish me to start again,
As you walk run or stand I’m always here with you inside,
Moments of joy I flow faster still,
I share you’re excitement you’re pain I try to repair,
Until I flow no more I’ll be with you near.
