Will you look at me
The same way
As you did before?
When I die
Will you care
Without leaving anymore?
When I die
Will you
Still be there
Despite all
Of our hard times?
When I die
Will you lift me up
And revive these
Faded chimes?

This poem entitled "When I Die" is for a friend - And partially for myself. Sometimes, I wonder if when I die, if things will be the same.. Or if they change. And if they do, if it's good or bad. But I won't be around to tell. No one will once they die. But yet, we still wonder... |

And for your friend, I'm hoping he would say the same! We don't necessarily have to see each other to be there for one another... You'll be another genuine poet in my heart, as well as the other people on this site!! If I'm right, you're asking if your friend will still look at Scorpio the same as he was when he was alive, at the funeral and in years to come.... Will you be remembered, and will you find peace, even though it may be hard to cope-----asking them not to depart because you're gone.... I may be wrong, but I loved it inspite of my hypothetical questions, and inspite of my analogies and theories, you're still a great poet! I enjoy reading your work!! Sorry about my mistakes and errors in the above comment, but on the 1st line, where it says, "I may not who you are that well" it should say "I may not KNOW who you are that well".. And for the sixth line, when I typed, "and will you find peace" I meant, "and will THEY find peace" Sorry once again Scorpio.... I'm such a bum in English grammar aren't I? hhaha... | Scorpio (67.162.95.179) -- Saturday, May 15 2004, 07:25 pm Well, it's just things I tend to wonder, really. As for my friend, he was actually wanting someone to realize he was thinking of these, so I wrote it for him. But, I added a few more lines to it, so I'm thinking of reposting it.
