No Right
15 May, 2004
Author: Charmaine
I miss you still,
Badly, terribly, dreadfully.
Seeing you with her tonight,
Well it just made it worse.
I saw her going off to meet someone,
And my intuition proved me right.
She was indeed meeting you,
And I knew it though I didn’t see you both
Images formed constantly in my mind,
Leaving me wondering in uncertainty.
I felt so upset and betrayed,
Cause you lied that you were out with another.
I feel used, so cheated,
And so manipulated with.
But I have no right,
No right to be upset at all.
I can’t make you smile,
And happy like she can.
I’ve no right to be jealous,
Or to be sad at all.
------- Author's Notes -------
I don't have a right to anything at all, and if she makes you happy which I cannot do, then I wish you eternal happiness. May you be happy always. |
