Let Alison Play
10 August, 2003
Author: Ben Laney
Alison watches
The children run
And Alison wants
To join in the fray
Alison, Alison
Jumps the gun
And all of the kids
Up and srteak away
Alison's got
A lot of love
Alison likes
To give love away
Alison, Alison
She is the one,
She is the one
With the face as bright as May
Come on, Come on,
Come on, let Alison play
She just want to
Be in on your childhood game
She may seem a little different,
But in her heart she is the same
In her heart she is the same
Come on, come on,
Come on, let Alison

Martin Vann (67.75.183.170) -- Monday, August 18 2003, 09:16 pm Ben, Something about this poem, made my heart feel warm, showed me another road, not all of us, will go. I could feel, her excitment, saying out loud, hey! you guys, just let me try, and then they did..., With the speed of a flashing heart, yet, she took the time to smile, as she passed them by. Alison, is different, in so many ways, blessed by the source of love, her heart like her tiny, feet, seem to pass, the rest..., of us by. I can't say enough, about, Alison. Thanks Ben, this was special, I love Alison. The poetic, mush Guru, MartinV |
