Miss You With A Passion
24 July, 2003
Author: Ben Laney
Tonight I'm laying down my head
On a pillow in a warm bed
And once again I'll try to sleep
I'll pull the blankets up real tight
Though they won't cover up the night
Or hide the pain that cuts through me
My mind is filled with thoughts of you
The images keep running through
But I see nothing I can touch
What I want is to hold you tight
Pull you up close with all my might
And feel the presence of your love
Each moment goes painfully slow
While this emptiness grows and grows
Till it's all too much to bear
Now I never did like to cry
But what can I do with these eyes
That look and don't see you there
I miss you with a passion
Feel like my heart's been torn out by the roots
I miss you with a passion
I've got to see you before my world falls through
It could go now at any minute
And what's it worth without you in it?
I miss you with a passion
