Stories To Tell
18 May, 2004
Author: Clive B Ringshall
I feel you near as I know you read,
These words I wrote hoping to please,
Feelings to capture your heart to unfold,
As we travel along each line,
Know we’re together mind in mind
Imagination will run away with thoughts,
Of how it used to be,
Each word we read has so many meanings conveyed,
To you and I different stories will be,
Never will we stop reading our stories to tell,
While we have others to touch and feel,
Our words become immortal through thought alone,
Others will see and pass the story on,
In time you and I will pass,
But our words of joy and sadness too,
Will live on in others.
Who until today strangers were.

Meridian (64.12.116.200) -- Tuesday, May 18 2004, 06:33 pm What's up Clive? This poetic poetry and poets poem entitled, "Stories to Tell", was magnificent! The stories we tell on dreamers, reveal some people through their strong words!! The stories we tell, also convey messages, and may help others going through a similar problem!! Through poetry, we can escape the world, and go to a land of fiction, the place I love and adore! Very admiring words! Lovely tone in your poem Clive! Smiles Merid (hhaha) |
Terrie* (4.182.138.74) -- Tuesday, May 18 2004, 07:02 pm heartfelt and deep..excellent choice of words.. i totally agree/w Hushy & Meri,in the strength of words & touching of hearts, revealin' of oneself...poetry allows one to pour their soul out, the effect we want is the response we recieve..sometimes the words that we put out from our heart often touches a soul ,that has been untouched and unapproachable...as this touched mine..great job .
