A lot of times i dont know what to say, or
how to express my feelings the right way.
So ill sit in my room and put these thoughts on paper.
It helps, most of the time.
Sometimes ill struggle with the first line.
Right now, i dont like the way i feel.
Maybe tommorow will be better, give my thoughts time to heal.
I wonder what i will think of this poem when i read it again.
I'll be my own worst critic and wonder why i even picked up a pen.
Time to end this now and dream into the night.
I write this last line as i tun off the light.

Martin Vann (65.56.171.129) -- Thursday, April 3 2003, 04:26 pm Everett, I enjoy the words of anyone who writes exactly the way they feel. I can see you working to find the words and that is what makes this poem real, to me. MartinV |
