A Good Mind
23 May, 2004
Author: Barbara Goodhew
Others are impressed with good looks and good body.
Some are impressed with intellect.
What I want is a intellegent man who is humorous.
With out being pushy and who is amorous.
The desperate ones attract other desperate ones.
No one wants to be loved and needed out of desperation.
We want to feel like we were chosen.. we were special.
Don't appear desperate, even if you are.
Nothing turns away good prospects more than a pushy
salesman.

Meridian (152.163.253.8) -- Monday, May 24 2004, 12:16 am Nothing turns a "good woman" on---(notice, I have those words in quotes), than a man with that twinkle in his eye, with that personality that will take your breath away.... Abs, don't mean a thing, because what may look flabby in your eyes, ( not talking directly to you there, Miss Barb), looks handsome and beautiful in mine..... Very well said on life lessons! A Good Mind will take us far in life, but not a corrupt mind! I love your intelligence on poem writing! Smiles, Merid |
barb (66.46.241.20) -- Monday, May 24 2004, 01:47 am yep being able to have a good conversation with someone is sexier than looks, having that doesn't hurt though, but not that important, cleainess and smarts mean more:)) Thanks for thinking my poems are intelligent.actually I have dear Abby beside me. Capricorn (82.36.129.85) -- Monday, May 24 2004, 09:27 am I can't agree more -- a good conversation can sometimes be a big turn on. Talking is so important... though I sometimes think we realise this more as we get older. Brilliant thoughts Barb |
Clive (63.184.1.166) -- Monday, May 24 2004, 07:15 pm Love love for love not for what love can give, Always see benith the cover, do not judge to quick, To talk the night away can have its attraction, a hug can be seductive to. To know you were listen to and understood has to be the best. Thank you for your words so true, Love and light Clive |
