Between Sanity And Insanity
24 May, 2004
Author: Scorpio
Upon the edge of sanity
I dwell alone
Between, saddened
In decision of which grass be greener
Insanity seems tempting
To give up everything
To lose what happiness I have
But all the drowning sadness as well
An indeed tempting offer
Sanity holds me by one bond
By he, my savior
My light in the dark
Only it is he who can save me
But he is too blind to see
Hidden in mange
Never to tell
Shadows consume my dreams
I am hollow; vulnerable
But frightening as it is
I don't believe I'm between anymore...
------- Author's Notes -------
Just for reference, for those Christian lovers out there, no, my "savior" is not God or Jesus. I really don't see why it's necessary when my writing is misunderstood. Like the bible. |
