Love Is Not
25 May, 2004
Author: Teresa Ortberg
Love is not measured by time,
But is only discovered,
In the depths of his heart,
And the caress of his hand.
It can be savored in the taste of his breath
and the warmth of his skin.
Love can be seen in the gleam in his eye
and with a glimpse of his soul.
Love is in the air that you breathe with him
and in his words that go unspoken.
It is in the promise kept by the
tender lips of his passionate kiss.
Love is found in the secrets of his brightest star
and held by the dark of a cloud covered sky,
only to be released by gently falling rains.
I have explored and resurrected a love with you
that will last through eternity, growing stronge with
each passing moment
