The Test Of Faith
26 May, 2004
Author: Emilee
My walk through life is often tough,
but it has helped me grow so much.
Often do I stumble and fall,
but everytime I stand up tall.
These things that rise to bring me down,
only teach me to stand my ground.
This test of faith God gives to me,
reminds me that when I am weak.
I can't give up on what I'm doing,
and even when it's quiet, God is listening.
When I feel like I'm falling, like there's nowhere to hide,
I'm reminded of Jesus death everytime.
His faith was tested on the cross,
our richest gain we count but loss.
And when I often start to cry,
I remember someday I will fly.
Away from my broken home,
from the darkness of this world I've known.
Life isn't perfect, sometimes it sucks,
but I know that Jesus is my rock.
When things don't turn out how they're supposed to be,
I know I do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
When life seems like it's at it's worst,
I talk to God and read His word.
And when I am about to break,
I remember God's Amazing Grace.
He lifted me from the dark,
and all He asked for was my heart.
So, I can take this test of faith,
remembering that everyday,
God is always there for me,
even when no one else will be.

The test of faith brought you this far-----aren't you exceedingly glad; fain; happy Emilee? That you can walk on the waters of temptation, instead of giving into Satan and sinking...
