If I talk to you would you listen?
Yes I’m happy that's not the point,
You give to me oh so much,
If I were to ask I know that I’d get,
You Love me true and this I also know,
Instead of roses which I love so much,
Call me from work to say those magic words,
Instead of gifts as you open the door,
Speak the words you said once often,
Instead of always making that effort to please,
Open the door so I can be a queen,
Instead of dinner out at a restaurant,
Let’s get a movie and cuddle like we once did,
You see you are my love and also my life,
I know that you love me and always will,
It’s the little things we both have lost,
Those things that would always make us smile,
Those things that made us special,
Just you and me,
I love you babes and that will only grow,
So I write these words for you,
You are my angel, My lover, my friend,
You will always be special to me.

| Terrie* (65.142.45.233) -- Friday, May 28 2004, 11:05 pm oh jeez,i din't realize i had cut my comment off too soon, SORRY!! such an air head am..i must 've fallen asleep in front of the P.C.haha.anyways the rest should of read.. no matter what we do together , what stands out the most are the little things we do for one another...especially when we make the effort to break away from a busy schedule as you do to read and comment, after all what is an hour or so spent w/someone spoecial opposed to spendin' it alone? nothin' because when one loses it , you painfully regret not doin' everything your passion desired.. your writing is so out there Clive... it reminds me to stop,slow down,pour a cup of tea, savour the aroma of a friend/lover before time takes them away..thanx for givin' us that, hugs w/a smile...Terrie* |
