To Be In Love
29 May, 2004
Author: Ben Franklin
Ive been in love once,
and never felt it again,
i dont want to,it came with to much pain,
i wanted to be at one,
you wanted the stars and fame.
I sat at my window for days,
or it could of been months, just waiting for
you to show,
new love?i dont want to know.

Charmaine (203.125.58.114) -- Sunday, May 30 2004, 04:14 am Boy do I know what you mean, the feeling of new love, the fear and uncertainty or wadever a new love brings. Like you, i've felt love once, and I'm not sure if i ever wanna know a new love. |
Sara (216.39.188.163) -- Tuesday, June 1 2004, 11:19 pm ive been there lots of times and when i thought i quit a new love came and destroyed me like the rest. its difficult to bring up the hearts passion with confidence again but its a wonderful feeling and even though right now i feel as if love is more bad than good, u should never close the doors to love. ive found out that denial can only make u stronger. great poem! |
