A Simple Beauty
4 December, 2003
Author: KitKatrina
The rain drops onto my window,
In the silence of the day,
Sliding down my window,
In a careless kind of way,
It looks a lot like my tears,
When I’m crying late at night,
Sliding down my cheek,
When I think it’s not all right,
I watch the raindrops form,
Making a long wet stream,
Joining one another,
On this day so like a dream,
Reminds me of nothing,
But when I am so sad,
So down and depressed,
Looking back at what I had,
The raindrops simple beauty,
Filling all my mind,
Reminding me of nothing,
But the happiness I try to find,
The rain drops onto my window,
In the silence of the day,
Sliding down my window,
In a careless kind of way
