Unfailing Grace
28 January, 2004
Author: Nora
Oh sweet and precious wonder this;
Our Lord’s unfailing grace,
when first we cry out for His love
and comforting embrace.
In agony of hopelessness
we seek the hand of God,
to touch the bleak and broken place
where misery has lodged.
Into the tattered remnants
of a heart that’s died to grief,
The Spirit of our Lord’s compassion
comes to live and breathe.
And there, amongst the shattered
and the desolated soul,
the loving hand of God begins
to heal and make us whole.
Oh joyous then, the wonder,
when a heart that’s died to pain
is adorned in God’s unfailing grace,
and brought to life again!
