Eternal Love
26 June, 2002
Author: Pamela O'Brien
Like the pedal of a rose;
It will always return.
Like the flame of a candle;
It will always burn.
Like the hope for all eternity;
It is neverending.
Like the brutal truth;
It means never pretending.
Like your greatest fear;
It will always haunt you.
Like the smallest tear;
Ir can get you through.
Like the apple of your eye;
It is the center of your world.
Like the finest wine;
It can intoxicate a girl.
In love, the foresaken is not the past.
It is that which lingers and makes it last.
