Reflection
5 June, 2004
Author: Brenda Gisell Garza
There she sits all alone
without a dry tear to be seen.
Tears just flowing on
and on like an never
ending waterfall.
Her graceful yet fragile face,
once pale now red.
Red from the tears
that the world has
caused her to cry.
I try to walk towards her
but I am stopped by a force
that is just to unexplainable.
I try to scream
and get her attention
but I am to far away
she can't hear me.
As I look closely I see
that it isn't just any little girl it 's me
and the unexplainable force
is just the mirror
with my reflection
looking back at me.
