A Dream Of You
7 June, 2004
Author: Brenda Gisell Garza
We were all alone
in the classroom
everyone had left but you and me.
Then you finally told me
how you felt.
You sat me down
and opened up your soul to me
telling me how much you really cared
how she meant nothing
that i was your only.
I said the same hoping
that you really meant what you said.
I didn't want a repeat
of the last time i told you.
You slowly moved towards me
and gently caressed my face
with your hand
your lips hit my lips
and we were lost in a world of love.
I felt so unique .
I finally knew
how you felt
your embrace made it clear
your words drove me near.
I knew happiness would soon be mine.
The one thing I wanted
was so close
and I liked how it felt that one moment .
But something happened
You slowly faded away
and i could no longer hear you
then i suddenly realized
it was all a dream ,
but hey dreams
can come true.
