The Silence
7 June, 2004
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
In the silence
the thoughts are not mine
The Darkness and the Light
fight to speak to me
Between the laughter and the tears
I tread softly listening
I hear their stories
I feel their pains
I open my eyes to shake them away
Yet they return again,
with so much to say
In the commotion of the quiet
I sit..
Trying to comprehend
the silence
------- Author's Notes -------
all is not quiet in the aloneness of silence |

Martin V (4.244.87.247) -- Monday, June 7 2004, 10:36 pm Dreamer, You hear the slence, shouting in your dreams, searching for, reality. I hear the same words to, sometimes, there are pictures, dizzy gray, from the clouds and the moon, sometimes when,I think, I am a wake, I hear and see, the same as you. Your heart is crying out, your soul is speaking out, I hear and see, the same as you do, but, without a sound. More Than A poem, MartinV |
