Dear Lord,
you’re the master of all known things..
help me make it thru these rough times I face ..
as I continue lifes journey alone ..

I'm nither sadden,
nor feeling sorry for myself
I'm just wishing and dreaming
for someone true in my life again

today I realized that I was lacking love in my life
help me be strong
and continue to walk by my side

as I ask you to come into my life
I accept you with an open heart soul and mind..
help me understand each line that I write...

outline the parables for me...
so that I may understand the simplicity
of visions unknown

and know when to open my heart to love once again
please remain with me
until you think I am ready
to move forward in my life

but even then please
continue to stay with me
i'll always keep you in my heart
in my life you are the biggest part

I have found so much comfort in your arms
a great feeling I have inside
when I have these talks with you

as only you know me
and the person I am inside
from you I can not hide

you know how much
I love my indedendence and my life
and how much I'd rather have
someone at my side forever to love

I miss the talks
I miss the walks
I miss the laughter
I miss the touch
of a man that sparks with desire
and a passionate heart on fire

when you think I'm ready
you know where I'll be
I will continue to wait patiently
