Minutes

They are the soldiers of the battle,
The battle of life.
They come and go without warning,
Leaving moments in the past.

Minutes who love to kill fast,
Like a heart struck with a knife.
They care about nothing in life,
The clock's hand going around not letting anything last.

Minutes who love wasting time,
As they end each day.
Killing everything in it's path,
Leaving only memories that linger.

They hate to wait over 60 seconds,
Before they throw everything away.
They march to the ticking clock,
Burning away hour by hour as acre by acre.

The minute's skeleton who just passed,
Could care less of how much time you need.
They take all events,
Putting them in RIP's.

"This is life, like it or not," they say,
As they pass by making no deed.
Minutes that pass making history into
What we call our memories.

Hey Sara! Now I understand Sara! Time, makes me sick too! Nowadays we don't have time for hardly anything anymore..... Always rushing for school, always rushing for church, always rushing, rushing, rushing..... Time has imaginary wings.....
I agree with what you're saying! Very good topic to write on!

Smiles,
Meri
