Sad Saturday Night
9 June, 2003
Author: Ben Laney
I got some Annie's
Home grown macaroni
And I'm sippin' on a cold cup
Of grind your own coffe
Far away from the city lights
A dog is barking
The deep night is falling
And here in my darkness
I don't hear you calling
It's gonna be a sad, sad,
Sad saturday night
I had a feeling
You wouldn't be showing
Lately you've been reeling
Like a leaf that's blowing
Round and round on a hurricane flight
Well, I hope that later
You feel a little better
Then maybe later
We can pull it together
Far away from the city lights
It's gonna be a sad, sad,
Sad saturday night
