My Soldier Sweetheart
15 June, 2004
Author: Del
My soldier sweetheart, you're leaving tomorrow.
We only have one more night to share.
Let's make it a night to remember,
Show each other how much we care.
Let's make it a quiet evening.
I'll cook your favorite meal for you.
Maybe we'll watch a movie,
Sip a glass of wine, maybe two.
Just how long will we be apart?
We have no way of knowing,
But all thru the lonely days and nights
We know our love will be growing.
Finally the moment we've hungered for,
Your soft lips crushing mine.
You slowly and tenderly caress me,
While our eager bodies entwine.
Our passion is overwhelming
While we try to hide our sorrow.
This is a special memory I'll cherish,
Since you'll be leaving me tomorrow.
